Institute for Halal Industry and System (IHIS) Universitas Gadjah Mada menjadikan penelitian dan kajian halal sebagai salah satu ujung tombak dalam merealisasikan tujuan dari IHIS UGM yaitu menjadi pusat penelitian tentang produk halal secara global.
